Helen Castledine


Helen Castledine is a public health consultant based in the UK with  over 20 years experience of working on public health programmes. She is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health and the Royal Society for Public Health. Additionally, Helen holds Chartered Management status and Fellowship of the Chartered Management Institute, reflecting her skills and experience in leadership and management within the health system. She has lectured at universities on a wide range of public health topics, including health inequalities, health promotion, needs assessment, health protection, change management and strategic leadership and management. Helen is committed to public health workforce development and is a verifier for the UKPHR public health practitioner registration scheme. She is deeply committed to advancing health equity and social justice, improving health outcomes for marginalised communities, and addressing systemic barriers to health access. Helen's research interests include maternal and child health.
