Dr Tolani Osunsanya


CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Goshen Health Solutions Ltd. Prior to this he was the Medical Director for Occupational Health Services with International SOS and he had held a similar Medical Director position after his 5-year spell as an NHS Consultant Occupational Physician in the English Midlands. 

His interest in occupational medicine was honed in the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria where he worked for 5 years. This interest evolved into his quest for formal academic training in occupational medicine, which resulted in obtaining a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Environmental and Occupational Medicine at the University of Aberdeen UK. His experience before appointment as an NHS Consultant was drawn from a variety of industries to include the textile, food, heavy engineering and automobile sectors as well as the civil service.

His research interests include particulate air pollution with special emphasis on the adverse health effects of submicron (ultrafine) particles as well as biological monitoring for workplace chemical exposures. He led a national audit of certain NHS occupational health practices in the UK and remain very keen on audits. He also have a particular interest in occupational rehabilitation; and previously led his team to be runners up in the national occupational health awards in the rehabilitation category. He holds an MBA degree from the Aberdeen Business School and he is a Fellow and Examiner for both the UK and Irish Faculties of Occupational Medicine. He is also the Regional Specialty Adviser (RSA) for Scotland.
