Poushali Ganguli

Poushali is a research associate in health economics at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, where she specialises in economic evaluations of mental health interventions for children and young people. Her expertise focuses on school-based mental health programmes, including mindfulness interventions, emotional literacy programmes, and psychological treatments for young people with complex needs.

Her work bridges health economics, epidemiology, data science, and global mental health – a cross-disciplinary approach that directly informs her teaching. Previously, she developed real-world evidence capabilities at IQVIA Solutions and contributed to the development of international databases for the World Health Organisation's Ebola Response Team.

Since 2022, Poushali has taught on iHeed's MSc Public Health programmes, supporting modules on international health and sustainable development, the influence of society and politics on health, and health economics. She brings her interdisciplinary perspective into the classroom, helping students connect public health concepts with broader social and environmental contexts while making complex methodological ideas accessible to international learners.
