Saran Shantikumar


Saran Shantikumar is a public health doctor and a clinical lecturer at the University of Warwick, where he is course director for the on-campus Masters in Public Health. 

Saran undertook his clinical work in epidemiology, most recently working with the national COVID outbreak support team analysing data and preparing reports and slides for the UK government and Chief Medical Officer. At the university, his research focuses on inequalities in primary care prescribing, using big data approaches to analyse publicly available national datasets.
