I have a doctorate in multimedia genetics education, with over 2500 citations of my publications in health, science and education research. I've worked in Australia, the United States and UK, first in population-based genetic screening then research and delivery of medical and genetics education in primary, secondary and tertiary education, continuing professional education and public sectors.
I convened the Genomics Education Network of Australasia, was Co-Chair of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia’s Education, Ethics & Social Issues Committee, and a member of several international genomics initiatives.
I'm based at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, with honorary Principal Fellow roles at Universities of Melbourne and Queensland.
