Véronique Larsimont

Véronique Larsimont is an accomplished clinical research professional with over 25 years of international leadership experience spanning clinical operations, study start-up, site contracting and project management. Véronique has led cross-functional teams and managed large-scale clinical programs across Europe and globally. Her academic foundation includes a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Florida and a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacy from Heriot-Watt University. Throughout her career, she has been deeply involved in mentoring clinical professionals, developing training programs, and championing process improvement and quality management initiatives—skills she now brings to the academic setting. Fluent in English, French and German, Véronique is passionate about sharing her industry knowledge and realworld insights with the next generation of clinical researchers. Her teaching draws on extensive hands-on experience in regulatory environments, strategic planning, and operational leadership, making her uniquely equipped to bridge academic learning with current industry practices.
