Dr. Shazia Iqbal

Dr. Shazia is a Consultant in Medical Education with a strong focus on technology-enhanced learning and the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical education. Her work particularly explores the ethical aspects of AI integration and the current challenges faced by healthcare professionals. With a background as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, she has over 15 years of experience in academia and medical education, including serving as Director of Medical Education. She brings extensive expertise in senior leadership, academic programme development, and tutoring, alongside a solid research background on the role of AI in healthcare.
