Mark Sujan
Mark is a Chartered Ergonomist and Human Factors specialist (C.ErgHF) working across academia, industry and the NHS. Mark has 25 years of experience developing, applying and teaching ergonomics and safety science methods. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), which promotes and recognises teaching excellence, a Fellow of the Safety and Reliability Society (FSaRS), and is on the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF). Mark is co-author of “Building Safer Healthcare Systems”, which forms the basis for the national patient safety syllabus adopted by NHS England. In addition, Mark is lead author on “Human Factors and Ergonomics in Health and Social Care: An Applied Approach”, which is an introductory text book. Mark has a strong interest in the socio-technical aspects of healthcare AI and a desire to communicate human factors / ergonomics to varied audiences. Mark is a faculty member of the iheed University of Warwick Masters in Healthcare Leadership
