Sofia Valanci

Over the past decade, Sofia has built a multidisciplinary career at the intersection of surgical education, coaching, continuing professional development (CPD), and more recently, artificial intelligence (AI). As a physician program advisor at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, SOfia has led and supported strategic initiatives that integrate educational innovation into national CPD and assessment programs. Sofia’s academic background includes a PhD and Master’s in Surgical Education from McGill University, complemented by formal training in AI through a diploma from The Power Business School.
