Bushra Naheed


Dr. Bushra Naheed is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a strong background in clinical care, medical education, and academic research. She previously worked at St. James's Hospital, Dublin, as a registered Gynaecologist,

Dr. Naheed currently serves as a tutor for the RCPI–IHEED Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She holds the following qualifications:

·       MRCPI – Royal College of Physicians of Ireland

·       MRCOG – Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK)

·       EBCOG – European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology

·       PhD – Keele University, UK

Combining clinical expertise with a passion for evidence-based teaching, Dr. Naheed is committed to creating supportive, learner-centred environments that build clinical confidence and foster professional growth.

As a published Cochrane author, she has contributed to systematic reviews and published in leading journals including the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (BJOG). Her PhD research focused on ovulation suppression as a treatment for premenstrual syndrome (PMS), incorporating national survey data and patient-centred clinical outcomes.

Dr. Naheed is dedicated to delivering inclusive and clinically relevant education, mentoring students through curiosity, collaboration, and confidence-building. She continues to support learners in both clinical practice and research, promoting lifelong learning and excellence in women’s health.
