Dr Julia Thomson

Julia has a very broad experience of paediatrics; her first 8 years as a consultant were spent as a general paediatrician with neonates and an interest in emergency paediatrics. She moved to the Homerton Hospital in London in 2017 to take up a general paediatric consultant post with an interest in paediatric cardiology.

Julia has a strong interest in medical education; she is a simulation facilitator, life support instructor in both children and neonates and is also an instructor trainer in the UK and in Africa. Her website, www.paediatricpearls.co.uk, keeps everyone who works with children up to date on all things paediatric and is well frequented by GPs and other health professionals.
