Dr Turlough Bolger

Dr Turlough Bolger is a consultant in Paediatric emergency medicine. He is a clinical director in Children’s Health Ireland at Tallaght University Hospital in Dublin and a former president of the Irish Paediatric Association.

Turlough has always had a strong interest in medical education, and is a firm believer in the importance of clinical skills when assessing children. In particular, history taking is an essential skill and when used correctly will reduce your reliance on unnecessary investigations. This will be the focus of his tutorials.
