Prof. Kelechi Nnoaham MBBS MSc DTM&H MPH DPhil FFPH

Kelechi currently leads Health Programmes Development in the UK energy sector. Most recently and for six years, he was Executive Director of Public Health for Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board and Lead for Research & Development, Value-Based Health and Innovation in the NHS in Wales. Kelechi’s background is in Infectious Diseases Medicine and he has broad interests in Global Health and Public Health. He has held senior Public Health positions in the NHS and Local Government since 2005 as well as honorary professorships in Public Health with Plymouth University (since 2015) and Cardiff University (since 2021). Kelechi’s current interest can be summarised as leading change in health and healthcare by leveraging research and an evolving evidence base to improve the health of communities and eliminate unfair disparities in health outcomes.
