Dr Kimberly Pierre

Dr. Kimberly Pierre currently serves as a College Administrator for Competency Based Education programs. In this capacity, she oversees the implementation and management of educational initiatives that focus on student mastery of skills and knowledge at their own pace.

Bringing over nineteen years of experience in higher education, Dr. Pierre has held a variety of roles including faculty member, administrator, and consultant. Her career trajectory includes leadership positions such as Associate Provost, Associate Dean, Regional Dean, and Campus Dean. She has worked in numerous educational settings and institutions, contributing her expertise across these diverse environments.

Before fully dedicating herself to higher education, Dr. Pierre worked as a program analyst and administrator. In these roles, she supported contracts for the Centers for Disease Control and the United States Air Force. Additionally, she has experience in the credit and banking sectors, further broadening her professional background.

Dr. Pierre holds a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership, a Master of Public Health, a Master of Academic Medicine, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management. Her educational achievements reflect a strong foundation in leadership, public health, academic medicine, and organizational management.

Dr. Pierre has extensive academic experience in curriculum and course development, accreditation and compliance, teaching and facilitation, consulting, and academic operations as well as professional expertise in public health, program management, and compliance. Her comprehensive skill set enables her to contribute significantly to the advancement of educational programs and institutional effectiveness.
