Dr Ken Yan Wong

Dr Ken Yan Wong is an Associate Tutor at the University of Essex Online, specialising in teaching and developing Masters-level modules focused on professional development, supervision, and reflective practice for healthcare professionals.  

With a PhD from Cardiff University, Dr Ken Yan Wong has developed a new epistemology on how healthcare professionals can grow through dialogic reflection—a perspective that is central to his teaching philosophy. Dr Ken Yan Wong is passionate about advancing the teaching and learning of reflective practice and is currently researching the use of artificial intelligence in qualitative research methods.  

Dr Ken Yan Wong predominantly runs a business supporting postgraduate students in their research journeys. This includes consulting on research studies, teaching research methodologies, and advising on academic writing and thesis development. Dr Ken Yan Wong also creates educational content on YouTube, covering research methods, study design, and guidance for international students applying to UK PhD programs.
