Transforming Healthcare Education for a Diverse Global Community
Welcome to the iheed Empowering Global Access Initiative! We believe in providing accessible and affordable postgraduate medical education for students from all backgrounds, regardless of their geographical location or financial circumstances. Our initiative focuses on offering support and opportunities to empower students in their pursuit of academic excellence and professional development.
Our initiative provides a 25% fee reduction on Master of Science programmes for students residing and working in Low-Middle Income Countries, making high-quality flexible education more accessible and affordable. This ensures that healthcare professionals around the world can access top-tier education and continue their professional development, ultimately enhancing healthcare outcomes.
By offering a streamlined entry route for nurses who do not hold bachelor degrees, we broaden access to postgraduate education and ensure that experienced professionals have more options for continuing their professional development. This inclusive approach recognises and values existing expertise and helps to improve the quality of healthcare delivery.
Our initiative incorporates advanced technology solutions, such as live transcription and text recording of tutorials to create inclusive learning experiences for all students. This accessibility enables learners who are hard of hearing or for whom English is a second language to fully participate in our classes, fostering a more diverse learning community. When creating exceptional educational content and experiences we always embrace every opportunity we can to celebrate the wonderful diversity of nationalities, cultures and local customs and clinical practices of those participating on our programmes. We go to great lengths to equitably represent gender and skin types.
