On the 29th January, iheed with partners at the University of Warwick, Enterprise Ireland and the Embassy of Ireland held a networking event in Dubai during Arab Health 2020.
Arab Health was the largest Healthcare Exhibition and conference in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region (and the second largest in the world) in 2020, with over 4,000 exhibitors and over 130,000 visitors from an estimated 160+ countries. The 4-day event provided a cross-industry platform for the likes of iheed and leading global healthcare companies, hospitals, medical providers and potential consumers.
However, as importantly, it allowed the team to meet current students, graduates, partners and future collaborators in an environment that promotes healthcare and medical education in the region. Its importance was especially recognized with the presence of H.E Mr Aidan Cronin, the Ambassador of Ireland to the United Arab Emirates.
During the event, graduates and current students were able to meet and discuss the novel concepts and learnings from the Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes, accredited by the University of Warwick while hearing more about the future of innovative medical education.

The event was attended by many within the sector and beyond and we look forward to furthering engaging with our students and partners in the region throughout 2020.
