Saroa Calero Del Río

Saroa is a Programme Manager at iheed, responsible for overseeing the Professional Diploma in Paediatrics and managing the Tutorial Support Network team. In this role, she ensures the successful delivery of the programme, supporting students and tutors throughout their journey. Additionally, she leads a team of 20 who provide technical support to the tutors, ensuring smooth and effective weekly tutorials.

Saroa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education with a focus on English Language Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education. Her diverse professional experience spans education, management, and customer service roles across Spain, Scotland, and Ireland. This extensive background has honed her skills in leadership, customer care, and project management.

Since joining iheed in 2022 as a Programme Coordinator, Saroa has swiftly advanced to the role of Programme Manager. Her global experiences and strong dedication to education offer valuable perspectives that enhance her contributions to the team and the organization.

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, climbing, painting and cooking.
