Saroa Calero Del Río

Saroa is a Programme Manager at iheed, currently overseeing the Master in Public Health in partnership with the University of Warwick. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of the programme, supporting students and tutors throughout their journey, and working closely with academic partners to maintain high-quality learning experiences.

She first joined iheed in 2022 as a Programme Coordinator for the Master in Public Health. Following her strong contributions, she was promoted to Programme Manager, where she led the Professional Diploma in Paediatrics and managed the Tutorial Support Network team. In that role, she supervised a team of 20 providing technical support to tutors, ensuring the effective delivery of weekly tutorials. Now back with the Master in Public Health as Programme Manager, Saroa brings both continuity and fresh expertise to the programme she originally helped coordinate.

Saroa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education with a focus on English Language Teaching, and a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education. Her diverse professional experience spans education, management, and customer service across Spain, Scotland, and Ireland. This international background has shaped her skills in leadership, project management, and student support, which she applies daily in her role.

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, climbing, painting, and cooking.
