About the programme:

This Royal College of Physicians of Ireland Diploma in Paediatrics delivered by iheed, is a new 9-month online learning programme, designed specifically to cater for busy healthcare professionals. A wealth of evidence now shows that the healthy foetus, newborn and child enjoy better health as an adult. It is estimated that young children consult their GP on average three times per year, with up to six additional visits in the first 18 months of life for immunisations. The care of infants, children and young people often form a large part of a doctor’s caseload, yet newly qualified doctors are often ill-equipped to provide comprehensive child-centred medical care and doctors considering entering speciality training in paediatrics soon realise that children are not simply small adults. Assessing an ill child is an art.

Drawing on the expertise of local and international experts in Paediatrics, the programme provides graduates with advanced knowledge and skills to enhance the health and wellbeing of children.

The objective is to give a solid grounding in the management of common and important paediatric issues.

Please note there are no CME credits awarded for attending this webinar.
